If you are interested in learning more about the history of the United States of America, we would be pleased to welcome you to our meetings.

This is a new series of talks tracing American History from before Europeans, right through to the US Presidential elections in 2024.

Each talk will include two forty minute sessions with plenty of time set aside for a coffee break and general discussion. The first meetings in July includes a review of the Native Indian cultures before the arrival of the Europeans, and the early explorations and the early attempts at colonisation by the Spanish and French.

There will then be a one month gap during August, followed by two meetings each month through to Christmas

Your Tutor and Organiser Stephen Lewis is a former US resident and a keen student of American history its history and politics. 

We look forward to greeting new members to our group. Everyone is welcome.
