Bird Watching

Group Number:9.16
Place: United Reformed Church, but please see below *
Day: Monthly on the 3rd Friday in the month
Time: 10.00 am
Cost:£2 or £3 (see below)

Definitive meeting times for the current month are shown in the Monthly Calendar.

The aim is to share knowledge and experiences, whether you are new to bird watching or an ardent "Twitcher".

* Most of our meetings are visits to local nature reserves to do some birdwatching. It's only talks which are held at the URC. We also hope to organise coach visits to relevant reserves and organise the occasional speaker.

Note: All visits begin at 10.00am unless otherwise stated. The programme may be subject to change. Volunteer drives are always welcome for the more distant trips. Full details of the visits will be sent out in advance.

For 2026 attendance fees will remain at £2 for outdoor visits and £3 for indoor talks.

2026 Programme - all Fridays beginning at 10:00am unless stated. Full details of events will be sent prior to each visit.

Please note that some members' photographs are now available on the Group Resources page, accessible via the link located towards the bottom of this page.

* Further details, including lunch arrangements, will be sent out prior to each event.  All events take place on Fridays.
